I have had cancer twice. In both instances, it was detected early. In 1996 I was operated on for the removal of my prostate. In January 2004, I had a section of my colon removed. At present I am enjoying pretty good health. I have not had any other health problems, and, for this I am thankful. This fund is intended to fund surgical equipment.

I have done a lot of travel over the years and have enjoyed many new experiences in so many different countries. An experience of a lifetime was as a volunteer in International Client Services during the Olympics in February 2010. I was in Whistler February 9th until March 1st. My clients were from the Norwegian Olympic Committee. Super to work with!!
I am widowed. I lost my wife July 12th, 1996. We did not have any children. I have a sister that lives in
I have my aviation medical and I still fly for pleasure. I enjoy travel. I try to play golf!! I cross-country ski and I also skate in the winter months.
What I most proud of is caring for my terminally ill wife as it was her wish to die at home. I also cared for a friend in
I am also proud that I have set up this Foundation to support the Kelowna General Hospital Foundation.
My advice to young people is – Do Not Be Afraid of Work!
