Fund Categories
Through the Kelowna General Hospital Foundation, you choose to augment health care facilities and their capacity, medical equipment, and patient comforts right here in Kelowna for this year, next year, and for generations to come.
You may wish to designate your gift to a particular area of interest, or to provide the Foundation with the flexibility to address priority needs.
We have two styles of funds designed to meet your needs. You can contribute to our existing funds or create your own individual fund:
- Restricted funds designate funding to a particular area or project.
- Endowment funds are permanent named funds that carry on in perpetuity providing support now and for generations to come. Endowments can be designed to support any area as suits your interests. Often individuals or families elect to seed an endowment fund during their lifetime and augment their fund through an estate gift.
